I've blasted one of the VRM FETs with 450℃ for like 3 minutes, everything else like the capacitor comes off, but this FET will NOT budge. I had several looks at several guides, including ones on this forum, but I feel like I need more explanation.Ĭlick to expand.Okay. Or at least guide me to making this work.

It would be great if somebody could the mod the bios for me, I'm pretty new to this whole GPU overclocking scene, and I would like to get my GPU to its full potential. This is possible, hitting 1506mhz core clock, and I've done it at one point due to this bios-not-updating-without-power-drainage 'issue', but it's not working anymore somehow. I want to up the power limits, and unlock voltage to 1281.3mV. The card works again when I turn down the left slider of the second row on to be 600-1600mV instead of 1281.3mV-1600mV like the modded bios on the first post. So, I opened up Maxwell II Bios Tweaker and tried to copy over everything (except the clock and boost states, excluding the GPC Max),īut when I do, the GPU would just throw an error 43 on windows 10, and wouldn't work. However, since the VID/PID is different from the reference, or the EVGA SC card, I can't really flash the bios on the first post. I have a Palit 980 Ti Super Jetstream, which to my knowledge is basically a reference PCB with a custom cooler. I have a few issues with trying to OC my bios.
